3rd City Building

3rd City Development
Your 3rd city is a Troop building city. If you want to build up population quickly don’t build rss plots and build a few more houses than normal to start with. You can destroy them later in favor of barracks.

NOTE: It’s a good idea to build your most common buildings in the same spots in each city. Buildings like Great Hall and Muster Field you will have to click on thousands of times during the game so if you build them on the same plots in each city, you will save yourself a lot of time navigating to them when switching between cities to move rss, troops and assign heroes.

Here’s what is suggested to be built/not built in your 3rd city

Muster Field
Required to send Troops out, Level 1 can send 10,000 troops and one March at a time, Level 2 can send 20,000 and 2 Marches, Level 3 is 30,000 and 3 Marches and so on… so the Higher the better, Get to Level 10 ASAP

Great Hall
Obviously required for your Heroes, 1 Hero per Level so if you want to do 10 Marches at a time you need Level 10 Great Hall.

This is Key to keeping your Resources so I suggest getting this to level 6-8 ASAP so you can keep your Res under the Protection Limit.
Note : Also need to be built up in conjunction with “Strongbox” in the Academy.

Required to build your Walls which in turn enables you to build up your Keep giving you more Res Fields and higher level cottages.

These are Required to increase population to enable you to train Troops and build Production Farms for resources.
Note : It is Recommended that you have at leastĀ 7 Homes due to the Extra Space in this City

This should have 24 Barracks to enable you to Queue upĀ 24 Sets of Troops to train.
Note : The higher the amount of Barracks the quicker the Training Time as this is split evenly between the amount of Barracks. (Times depend on Research and amount of Barracks)

Embassy – Do NOT Build
There is no need for an Embassy as you don’t care if this gets attacked because your troops are not here. – Just try and stay under our Protection Limit for your resources

Academy – Do Not Build
Don’t have an Academy in my 3rd City to enable an extra plot for a Barrack but if you still have a lot of lev 7-8 research you may want to build one.

Sage Tower – Do NOT Build
Just in your Main

Watch Tower – Do NOT Build
You do not care if this city is attacked as your Troops are not here to fight them – Try and stay under your Protection Limit though.

Forge – Do Not Build
I Do Not Build a Forge as I use this City to constantly pump out T1 Troops and Forge is only needed for higher Graded Troops i.e. T3’s. You can always change your mind later, knock down 1xBarrack and build a Forge when you get bigger. Forge will also help increase training times.

Stables – Do Not Build
I Do Not Build a Stable as I use this City to constantly pump out T1 Troops and Stable is only needed for higher Graded Troops i.e. T3’s.
You can always change your mind later, knock down 1xBarrack and build a Stable when you get bigger etc.

Res Fields
Up to you but remember rss plots take up population. Only build to level 6 as this is the most efficient production vs population use for a rss plot.

You are working towards eventually having 4 cities so here’s the end goal:

1st City (the one you started with)
– Troop Storage City/City you farm from as it contains highest level hero
– Remove all farm plots/food wilds after 2nd city is claimed
– Troop training
– redevelop rss plots to be majority of ore/stone/wood (no farms)

2nd City
– Troop training
– concentrate on city first before rss plots (especially Academy so you can speed up research levels)
– develop rss plots to majority food

3rd City
– Troop training
– develop rss plots majority wood

4th City
– Troop Training
– develop rss plots to balance out rss production from other 3 cities
